the new CD has arrived
CDs are now available at CD Baby, and the link to the site is now up for you to purchase CDs online. We'll also be making them available at our usual local retailers within the next week or so; stay tuned for details about where you can find 'em.
The new CD is titled "Echoes". Twelve original songs about love, attempts thereof, and love gone wrong; songs about trains, semis, and the people who drive them (on or off the rails), and the miles heaped on them all; songs about heroes and abject failures; songs that tell a big tale and songs that are largely introspective. Lots of new sounds; some of these songs you've doubtless heard before if you've attended a recent 100s show; some are brand new and never played live. This album was the maiden voyage for Pete's new Flying Tractor Recording facility in Mount Vernon, Iowa...a very comfortable experience for the guys, and a great acid test for the new studio. Anyone looking for a great sounding live room for drums or guitars, and a vocal recording space that brings out the best in a performer without adding room artifacts, wouldn't be disappointed in what's possible at the digitally equipped Flying Tractor.

Thanks all of you who came out for the CD release party in Waubeek - a great night and was wonderful to see some familiar faces turn out. The next CD release show will be at The Legion In Springville on Saturday, January 10th...for those of you that missed the December show, hope to see you there (hope to see EVERYBODY there!). Be among the first to get your hands on the new CD and enjoy 47 1/2 minutes of your favorite "Rural Route Rock".
